LA MAR - ANCHOR EP
It's with exciting news we bring to you our second EP on Stoney Roads Records. Having featured on Mazde's Shifted thoughts EP, we welcome the first original from Sydney based duo La Mar.
La Mar's music hinges on the relationship between singer Dylan Wright, and keyboardist, Andrew Grant. The two spent a large part of this year writing; finding the foundation for their music and collecting sounds.
'Anchor' explores a rich tapestry of sounds, from raw analog synths to tight drum work. Not quite Chill-step, not quite Future, but very contemporary and soul gripping music.
The EP continues with Mazde’s tasteful spin on “Anchor,” in what sounds less like a remix, and more of an interpretation of sounds. Following “Shifted Thoughts,” Mazde carefully creates a unique track, appealing to only the most cultured of ears.
